THE LAKES

Autumn paints the landscape in breathtaking hues, as fiery foliage mirrors itself in the still waters. The interplay of light and shadow creates mesmerising reflections, making our lakes a photographerโ€™s paradise.

Even as autumn progresses, a few hardy dragonflies continue to grace the skies. Common Darters can often be spotted basking on paths near the lakes well into November, while delicate Willow Emerald Dragonflies emerge in late August and can be spotted fluttering around the weeping willows through October.
