Children’s Crafts: Macramé Workshops

Join Sólveig Avina for a selection of creative and fun-filled workshops for children. Your child will get to learn macramé to create something beautiful and practical that they can use and treasure at home.
Each date offers something different. Children can learn to make a keyring or wristlet, or create a bespoke heart mini macramé, choosing from a selection of colours. Find out more about each workshop below.

Mini Macramé
14 August |10:30 – 11:30 & 13:30 - 14:30
With macramé knotting techniques, children will learn how to make simple knots that repeat to make a heart shape. Using a pretty macramé cord, you can add beads and then tie it with a string to hang up.
Children will finish the workshop with a lovely hanging heart to take home and enjoy!

Based in London and West Sussex, she has conducted numerous workshops, both to the public and for small intimate groups. Sólveig is also a keen speaker and demonstrator of Macramé trends and projects, hosting live discussions on her Instagram account with other makers and creatives.
