Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens estate, the magnificent 240-acre woodland property owned by entrepreneur Penny Streeter, houses one of England's most exciting new ventures: Leonardslee Wine Estate, a vineyard producing sparkling wines aimed to rival the finest Champagnes.

You’ll find so much to see and do here during August. From the sights and smells of the new floral displays around the Mansion and Rock garden areas, to the stunning views across and out of the estate that we continue to re-open, or the glimpses and sounds of busy insects buzzing and flitting around the lakes, August is a fantastic time to take it all in.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Spring Display of Rhododendrons. This annual display, usually at its peak in the month of May but often in late April and early June, is highly anticipated by garden lovers.

’Summer at Leonardslee’ is scheduled between the 22nd to the 30th of July, 11am to 4pm each day and promises a range of activities, entertainment, and delectable food for adults and children.

Although I like to think that Leonardslee has something to offer our visitors every day of the year, May is the one month that is etched in my mind as the real feature period when everything here explodes into colour and life.
