Leonardslee House announced in ‘Top 100 places to stay in Britain for 2023’
We are delighted and proud to announce that Leonardslee House has been ranked highly in a piece entitled 'Top 100 places to stay in Britain for 2023' by The Times.
“Now Loder’s 19th-century Italianate mansion has been rebooted as a ten-bedroom hideaway with a Michelin-starred restaurant that takes its culinary cues from the gardens, with dishes that feature birch syrup and oak-tree vinegar. Once the public have left, those romantic gardens are just for loved-up guests — and the wallabies.” - Susan d’Arcy

“A fresh chance to enjoy one of Britain’s best gardens at this renovated Italianate mansion in West Sussex”
- Susan d’Arcy
The renowned but dilapidated Leonardslee Gardens were restored to acclaim in 2019. The same year, the new Restaurant Interlude won a Michelin star. The last piece in the jigsaw is the opening of the mellow-stoned grade II listed mansion.
