The Fragrant Garden: Perfume Creation Workshop

Discover some of the hidden secrets of perfumery and take home a bottle of fragrance created by you from a range of beautiful ingredients, all provided as part of this fascinating, half-day workshop with Jonathan Gilhooly.
Explore the captivating world of scent in this creative, hands-on, fun and informative workshop. You will be introduced to a variety of olfactory materials (essential oils and other fragrance components) - including some special ‘secret’ ingredients which have the ability to magically transform simple blends into perfume. You will also get to know about fragrance ‘families’ and how to recognise them, and have access to a range of perfumery ingredients, before creating your own signature scent.
All materials and equipment are included as part of the workshop. No previous experience is necessary.

Jonathan Gilhooly is an artist, perfumer and teacher based in Sussex. He founded Olfactory in 2019 and since then has organised successful perfume creation workshops and classes at a number of venues in the south-east.
