Nature Makers: Children’s Miniature Gardens and Fairy Folk
5 April, 9 April, 13 April, 16 April & 21 April | 11:30 – 12:30
Let your child’s creativity bloom this Easter holiday with Julie from Nature Makers! Designed for ages 5 to 10, these hands-on sessions are a fantastic way to explore art while learning about the natural world.
Using eco-friendly, natural, and vegan-inclusive materials, children will develop new skills as they design and plant their own enchanted miniature garden. They’ll also craft whimsical fairy folk using wooden pegs and recycled materials.
Julie also offers regular art, craft, and play activities for pre-schoolers during term time and school holidays here at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens. Find out more here.

About Julie from Nature Makers
Julie has many years of experience teaching and supporting children in their learning. This has taught her that children love to connect with nature and she thinks this is essential for their emotional development and mental wellbeing. Inspiring children to appreciate and protect the natural environment is very important to her. Julie believes that children need hands-on, outdoor learning experiences to excite and engage them. That is why I decided to join Nature Makers. In our workshops, children will be inspired by the natural world, learn new skills and develop their creativity.
