17 November & 10 December | 10:00 – 11:30 & 13:30 - 14:00

What better way to get your home ready for the festive season than with cute, mischievous little Gonks?  

Learn how to make a cheeky chap or chapette with a Mini Macramé Gonk workshop with Sólveig, make the hat, the beard, and add a nose & there you go your very own mini gonk. Open to kids and adults alike. You can hang them up on your tree or wherever to add some festive cheer! 

Ready for the holidays! Macramé is a fun, rewarding textile art method of using knots to make things. 

 £22 per person | 10% off for Leonardslee members | Garden Entry included 

Suitable for children age 10+ | Parent/s or carer/s must attend with the child. Workshop tickets are not required for the parent/s or carer/s, but they must have either garden entry or a Leonardslee Membership. | Tea, coffee, mulled wine( for the adults) and mince pies provided throughout the workshop


About Sólveig Avina  

Sólveig Avina is a skilled Macramé maker and teacher with extensive experience in the craft. Based in London and West Sussex, she has conducted numerous workshops, both to the public and for small intimate groups. Sólveig is also a keen speaker and demonstrator of Macramé trends and projects, hosting live discussions on her Instagram account with other makers and creatives. You can find her stunning Macramé creations showcased on her Instagram, as well as at various markets and pop-up shops.    

Sólveig is also passionate about giving back to her community, having volunteered her time and resources to teach after-school and lunchtime Macramé clubs at her children's primary and secondary schools. With her wealth of knowledge and expertise, Sólveig is a true inspiration to anyone looking to delve into the art of Macramé.
