About Karen Pearson

Karen is a painter and sculptor and has been teaching drawing and painting skills since 2002. After many years of running her own practice as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Where she rekindled her creative passion and embarked on her second career in the arts world.

Although she paints in inks, acrylics, oils, pastels and mixed media, her main discipline is watercolour with its ability to move and merge on the paper, its subtle and vibrant qualities and, at times, unpredictability. Karen sculpture work ranges from ceramic hand build to casting in bronze, resin and beeswax. Karen 3D work is very much about 'process' and is wholly inspired by the natural world.

You can find Karen's work displayed here at Leonardslee
