About Jessica Nicholas
Jessica is an experienced teacher of all ages and runs regular Art Classes in East Grinstead, Forest Row, Felbridge and Lingfield. For all ages, disabilities and artistic abilities. She hopes to make Art History accessible to all and her workshops draw on a particular subject, art history movement or an art technique to break it down simply to build people’s confidence and above all have a bit of a laugh whilst creating. It’s not all about the final piece but about the processes and preparatory drawings and studies beforehand.
Jessica is DBS checked for working with children and vulnerable adults and regularly attends workshops herself and it always thinking of new creative processes to learn and broaden her knowledge to teach others. Above all she loves what she does and it shows through her workshops.
So come and join a workshop with the Art Styles Academy to learn and try something new.
Children’s Workshops
Jessica teaches kids from ages 5+ (with a little help from Parents and Caregivers for little hands). She regularly runs an Art History Club /Classes for kids aged 8 + in Felbridge and kids and teenagers love the 2 hour class even on a Saturday morning!
“I love teaching all ages, it just shows you that ability and age really doesn’t matter, its how you feel when you create that is the most important thing rather than the outcome, not everything has to be ‘instagrammed', shown or in a gallery, the best feeling comes from creating ‘something' and that might be a tiny doodle the scrappiest bit of paper or a preparatory study from one of my workshops!”
