Following a series of sold-out sessions in 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome Zoe from Bouquet Bakes back to Leonardslee for another season of inspiring cupcake decorating workshops.

Whether you're just starting out, love to bake for fun, or have some experience under your belt, these hands-on workshops are a fantastic way to learn new skills, boost your confidence, and get creative with buttercream.

Each session is packed with expert tips and plenty of guidance as you learn to pipe beautiful floral and foliage designs using specialist nozzles. You’ll leave with a box of your own decorated cupcakes to wow friends and family – and of course, enjoy yourself!

All cupcakes will be freshly baked and ready for you to decorate. Just bring your enthusiasm and an apron (things can get a little messy) – everything else is provided.

Spaces are limited and tend to go quickly, so early booking is recommended!

Summer Blooms Buttercream Cupcakes   

13 June at 10:30 – 13:00

Join Bouquet Bakes for a relaxed, friendly 2.5-hour Summer Blooms buttercream workshop, where you’ll learn to pipe bright,sunny flowers inspired by the best of the season. You’ll decorate 6 cupcakes using summery colours and  greenery, then box them up to take home. 

This class is perfect for beginners, and also great if you’ve piped a little before and want to improve your technique and confidence. 

A lovely workshop if you fancy a creative break, want to learn a new skill, and leave with something beautiful (and delicious!). 

What you’ll learn 

How to get the right buttercream consistency for clean petals and smooth swirls 

Simple colour mixing for sunny summer shades and gentle blending 

How to use piping bags and key nozzles with ease 

Step-by-step piping of a selection of summer flowers (think daisies, zinnias, simple roses, carnations,and leafy foliage) 

Easy finishing touches to make your cupcakes look neat and well styled 

What’s included 

6 cupcakes ready for decorating 

All buttercream, colours, tools and piping tips provided 

Demonstrations and support throughout (with plenty of help if you need it)

Bloom & Buttercream Cupcake Decorating Workshop 

19 September | 10:30-13:00

Enjoy a relaxed and creative 2.5-hour workshop at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens learning the art of elegant buttercream flower piping.

With step-by-step guidance throughout, you’ll decorate six beautiful floral cupcakes using techniques suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Whether you’re joining friends, planning a special mother-daughter day or simply looking for a mindful creative escape, this welcoming workshop offers a lovely opportunity to slow down and create something beautiful to take home.

What to Expect:

  • A warm and relaxed atmosphere

  • Step-by-step guidance throughout

  • Decorate 6 floral cupcakes to take home

Zoe is the creator behind Bouquet Bakes and has spent many years perfecting the art of baking and floral buttercream design. She specialises in crafting beautiful floral cupcakes and bespoke celebration cakes, always made with the finest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail.

After years of people asking how she creates her signature buttercream flowers, Zoe began running workshops to share her techniques. Her sessions offer a warm, mindful and genuinely enjoyable way to learn the skill of transforming simple cupcakes into stunning edible art.
