Magnum 1.5L Estate Syrah 2017
Confident and stylish, the wine entices with potpourri, cinnamon, pepper, hints of olive tapenade and a light perfume of sandalwood. Centre to that is a solid midpalate with a rich yet fresh display of fruit set on tightly knit tannins to deliver a long, savoury finish. Nuances of rose petals and bitter-sweet liquorice linger to add that extra bit of character.
The 2017 vintage took shape in a more old word style with restraint, tension and a savoury coat that adds a classic, Syrah personality. It is underpinned with freshness and finesse, resulting in a wine with a leaner frame, typical of this cool climate.
Magnum 1.5L Estate Collage 2017
The initial masculinity of this wine is tempered with vivid notes of violets, delivering a classic, multi-faceted blend. Rich aromas of plum, marzipan and liquorice are wrapped in cool nuances of cigar leaves, cedar and dried herbs. Well knitted tannins are trailed with vivacious fruits, leaving you wanting more.
